Reflection piece: AR Ch. 47

Ever since the last quarter, I have had a greater respect
and curiosity just about the Jewish culture. In REL204, I was floored
at how important the Hebrew faith was to global evolution and
how little they were understood or how represent they were.
The Jewish history is nobody short of amazing, and also nothing
short of a struggle.

I have to say this, on p 414, I had a faithful laugh. I neer
expected to the names Madonna, Britney Spears, or Posh Spice in
a college textbook, but there they were (the end is near.).
Though good for a laugh, the message was that the Jewish faith
is gaining popular design in the form of Kabbalah. This was
inspiring in that celebrities whitethorn encourage an interest in the
faith. I personally try for so, because people of all faiths should
be aware of the impact that this trust has had over the
entire world. I figure this would actually beef up my thoughts
in my NANR reflection paper, about being aware and educate
about the true message of Judaism, being that of not sacred
dogma, but rather focusing on being a good person, and treating
others well.




As in the older traditions, I was smart to see an
emphasis on education in the Jewish community on p 417. I
personally think education is a huge factor in the pick of
the Jews, and they are excelling in the modern world. It seems
to me that even with their over-all small numbers, they earn
many of the more powerful and influential positions in society.
hotshot of the most influential, I think, is Jon Stewart. I have
always been a big fan of comedians. They make me think deeply
about things by using humor as a catalyst. Jon Stewart is, in my
opinion, one of the most powerful forces in media today, and I
discredit that anyone would say that he is not an extremely well
educate man. He has made politics interesting to the younger
